Pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, Scottish shortbread, Full Scottish breakfast

We are lucky to have some fantastic local produce to work with and we are delighted to hold VisitScotland's Taste our Best award. We aim to use as many locally produced ingredients as we can and where possible we use fruit, herbs and vegetables from our garden and eggs from our hens. We make our own bread, cakes, shortbread, jams, marmalade and chutneys. In the afternoons we offer tea or coffee and home baking in the sitting room.  If you would like to know more about our food and where it comes from, please read our provenance page.

There are a range of eating out options in nearby Helmsdale and Brora, alternatively we also offer a selection of suppers which can be pre-booked. We do not have an alcohol licence but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol, there is no corkage charge. We can also provide tasty packed lunches on request.

A relaxing breakfast (served at any reasonable time to suit you) round our large table will hopefully set you up for your day. Our breakfast menu includes daily changing specials and we can cater for most dietary requirements, please let us know when you book if there is anything that you can't eat.
